Rainbow Six Siege Operation Split Fire Update Adds Legend Division and Noor Buffs

Doktor’s Curse Returns in Rainbow Six Siege

Ubisoft has released the mid-season update for Rainbow Six Siege Year 11 Season 3, Operation Split Fire, bringing significant balancing changes, a new competitive playlist, and the return of the fan-favourite Doktor’s Curse Halloween event.

One of the biggest additions is Legend Division, a new solo-queue competitive playlist designed for the top 1% of players above Champion rank. Running from October 15 to December 1, the mode features a leaderboard, exclusive profile banners, and special charms for the top 100 players in each region. Players must meet several requirements, including reaching Champion rank in the current season, having a clearance level of at least 200, and enabling Secure Boot and app-based two-factor authentication.

The update also buffs Noor’s Horus Lance, reducing its drilling time and equip time while increasing direct impact damage from 50 to 80. Other balancing changes affect operators including Tachanka, Valkyrie, Clash, and Osa. Ubisoft has also adjusted fire damage and made barbed wire fully stop Ram’s BU-GI.

Meanwhile, Doktor’s Curse returns from October 15 to November 30 with its familiar 5v5 Hide and Seek gameplay on a modified Clubhouse map. Grim and Hibana join the Hunters, while Mute joins the Monsters. The event also introduces new cosmetic bundles and a special Premier Pack.

The Ranked map pool is changing as well, with Skyscraper and Theme Park leaving the rotation and Kanal, Outback, and Oregon joining. Ubisoft plans to introduce a more stable map rotation starting in Year 11 Season 4.

With competitive changes, operator buffs, and Halloween content arriving together, this update gives Siege players plenty of reasons to jump back in and see what has changed.
