Dataminers Locate Some Cyberpunk 2077 Multiplayer Details
According to a source that wished to remain anonymous who spoke to the Dark Side of Gaming, Cyberpunk 2077 multiplayer has been datamined. According to this source, the multiplayer will include heists and a deathmatch. The dataminer was able to locate this information in the game’s executable file and code was included with the leak. Cyberpunk 2077 is available right now for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, Google Stadia, and PC.
According to the code found by the anonymous dataminer, Cyberpunk 2077 gamers may be able to select one of several character classes for the heists and deathmatches which suggests character abilities that will be unique to each class. The dataminer has officially teased Assassin, Netrunner, and Techie classes to choose between. The leak includes code that references a lobby which could be anything from a menu style lobby like Call of Duty or an interactive lobby like Fortnite.
Cyberpunk 2077 multiplayer will apparently include a ready check similar to Fortnite and Apex Legends, requiring gamers to click a box before the queue may start. The executable file of Cyberpunk 2077 also includes simple code that says when a player has joined or left a lobby, showing the mundane information alongside the juicy info from this dataminer. The code also includes several references to Muppets, but that’s a crossover that’s unlikely to happen.
While it has been rumored that players will be able to customize their Cyberpunk 2077 multiplayer avatar, none of this datamined information has confirmed what sort of cosmetics they’ll be playing with.
