The God of War Is Coming to the Fortnite Universe
With Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 – Nexus War coming to a close recently, Epic Games took to Twitter to tease the new Chapter 2 Season 5. Although it’s expected for Epic Games and the official Fortnite Twitter to tease upcoming content, PlayStation also Tweeted an audio transmission similar to those shared by Epic. PlayStation’s tweet teased an upcoming Fortnite character who has killed multiple gods with his bare hands in a fit of rage. Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 is available right now for Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, mobile, Mac, and PC.
“Reality log 32 note to self: do not research targets before transporting them to the island,” said the recent audio transmission from Fortnite shared by PlayStation’s official Twitter account. “Because if you do, you might find out a few things you really don’t want to know like, I dunno, for example, that the next guy you’re picking up has literally vanquished multiple gods with his bare hands in a fit of uncontrollable rage. Ahhh…. here we go!” It’ll be interesting to see if Kratos does join Fortnite whether or not he’ll end up being a PlayStation exclusive or if he’ll bridge the gap between platforms.
The audio transmissions that were released to tease Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 all included cryptic information about the new map, battle pass characters, etc. so it’s likely that if the PlayStation transmission is to be believed, we’ll see Kratos in Fortnite sometime over the next couple of months. The audio transmissions are voiced by Fortnite’s Jonesy (Troy Baker) and they tie teases for Season 5 together with plot details from previous seasons such as the agency Jonesy works for.
