Cuisine Royale Is Now CRSED: F.O.A.D.
Gaijin Entertainment and Darkflow Software have officially decided to change the name of Cuisine Royale to Cuisine Royale Second Edition: Fulfillment of All Desires. The Second Edition part of the new title suggests a big change with the new season similar to Chapter 2 coming to Fortnite with the conclusion of the black hole event. The name change isn’t the only upcoming change for the game, with new Champions, a new map, and more new content coming in the update as well. CRSED: F.O.A.D. is available right now for Xbox One, PS4, and PC, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions coming soon.
“We think that the new title does a better job of expressing the idea of brutal last-man-standing battles where Champions with mystical powers fight,” said Cuisine Royale lead designer Alexander Polyakov. Joining Cuisine Royale with the new name change join two new champions: a voodoo user from Haiti and a Korean “child of nature.” Cuisine Royale Second Edition: Fulfillment of All Desires launches with a new map known as the Island of Siberia, potentially loosely based on the real-world location of Siberia.
The new season of Cuisine Royale Second Edition: Fulfillment of All Desires brings a new battle pass system that will bring some changes in addition to the expected new cosmetic items, abilities, summoning stones, etc. Considering the game is still inspired by the art of cooking, the new season will likely continue that theme. The “Fulfillment of All Desires” part of Cuisine Royale’s new name is inspired by the name of the tournament players are currently at war in.
