Transfer Your Spider-Man Save Files From PS4 to PS5

Play Your Original Save Game in Spider-Man Remastered

While much of this year has been spent in anticipation of the release of the Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5, it has already been almost two weeks since the console’s release. That means, two weeks since players got their hands on Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and for owners of the PS5 version of the game, two weeks of Spider-Man Remastered.

Spider-Man Remastered owners will be happy to hear that developer, Insomniac Games released an update last night allowing players to transfer their save games from the PS4 version of the game, to the PS5 version–a promise they made to the community just a few days before the game’s release.

Been too busy playing Miles Morales to take another crack at Spider-Man Remastered? Well, now’s the perfect time. Transfer your original save game and continue where you left off. Already beat the game on PS4 and feel you have no reason to transfer your save? Consider taking on a New Game+ playthrough, or go back and play the DLC, The City That Never Sleeps, if you didn’t pick it up the first time around.

The update also added the three new suits from Spider-Man Remastered to the original game. This includes Andrew Garfield’s version of Peter Parker from The Amazing Spider-Man series, the Armored Advanced Suit, and the Arachnid Rider suit.

Spider-Man Remastered also received some other fixes and updates.
