Season 21 Brings More Content to Diablo 3

Diablo IV Is Coming but Diablo 3 Will Not Die

Diablo IV has been announced and is already in development, but the team behind Diablo 3 isn’t done pumping out content. Season 21 has been added to Diablo 3, with more content being added to fans that are patiently waiting for the next installment in the franchise by playing the latest title in the series. Season 21 is known as Trials of Tempest and it includes some repeated rewards from previous seasons such as season 9. Diablo 3 is available for Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC right now, with Diablo IV expected later this year.

The ongoing development of Diablo 3 ensures that fans of the title won’t run out of things to do leading up to the release of Diablo IV. Season 21 adds a unique feature that empowers characters with elemental energy that unleashes every 90 seconds as one of six different spells. The six spells include raining meteors, breathing lightning, summoning a wall of flame, releasing small twisters of wind, or rolling gigantic snowballs. The random nature of these spells will change up the gameplay every 90 seconds and keep gamers on their toes.

The repeated season rewards are those from Season 9 so gamers who weren’t playing Diablo 3 in 2017 will have the chance to unlock the rewards in season 21. These rewards include the chest pieces and gloves of the Conquerer set, portraits based on Pandemonium and Rocky the pet. Season 21 also includes End of Journey rewards that will be available for gamers who complete the Season Journey, including the Stupendous Contraption pet and the Industrial Portrait Frame.

Demon Hunters and Necromancers are both getting new sets with season 21, with The Gears of Dreadlands empowering Demon Hunters and the Masquerade of the Burning Carnival being brought to the Necromancer arsenal.
