Ninja Responds To Joe Rogan On Twitter

Ninja Discusses How Joe Rogan Is Wrong

Over the past few days, the gaming community has taken to the internet to express the inaccuracies spoken by Joe Rogan on his most recent podcast. In the episode, Rogan revealed his thoughts that videogames are a waste of time. The podcaster stated, “video games are a real problem,” and “they’re real exciting, but you don’t get anywhere.”

Since then, however, one of the most known faces in the video game industry, Ninja, has come forward with a rebuttal to Rogan’s comments. In a twitter video, Ninja posted his thoughts, stating, ” Joe doesn’t really understand then the full context of what the gaming community is and how many different avenues you can be successful.” The Twitch streamer continued by listing several jobs such as streamer, youtube, and coach.

One thing Joe Rogan and Ninja both failed to mention is the fact that almost all videogame creators enter the multi-billion dollar industry because they are fans of the medium first. This passion alone has created over 240,000 jobs in the United States. Video games, much like music, television, movies, literature, and podcasts are all forms of media created for the consumption of the audience and to spark fundamental societal conversations.

While Ninja’s opinion is opposite to Rogans, the twitch stream was respectful in delivering his message. At the end of the video, Ninja stated how he would love to be a guest on the Joe Rogan Experience.
