Senior Marketing Program Manager at Xbox, Dean Shimabukuro, officially announced that several games are free to play this week for Xbox One gamers. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Frostpunk: Console Edition and Ash of Gods Redemption will all be free to play this weekend, giving Xbox One gamers a variety of games to try for free. These games are all playable right now and gamers will be able to try them until Sunday, July 19th at midnight PDT. To play these free offers, gamers will need to be subscribed to Xbox Live Gold, which is included as part of the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate service alongside the extensive Game Pass lineup.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint

In addition to the free play days for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Frostpunk: Console Edition and Ash of Gods Redemption, the titles are all getting a price reduction as well. The many editions of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint are 75% off, making the standard edition $14.99, the Gold edition $24.99 and the Ultimate edition $29.99. Meanwhile, Ash of Gods Redemption is 50% off at the price of $15 and the Frostpunk: Console Edition is 35% at the cost of $19.49.

Gamers can download the games offered for free this weekend through the Xbox One dashboard or the Microsoft Store and the discounts will be available for a limited time as well. Free Play Days are both a great way for gamers to try something they may not otherwise have played and a great way for developers to get their games into the hands of more gamers and potential new fans.
