Certain AMD CPU’s Currently Offer AC Valhalla for Free
AMD is currently offering Assassin’s Creed Valhalla for free with the purchase of qualifying Ryzen CPU. This offer from AMD runs from now until October 3rd, between which gamers who need CPU upgrades can cash in on this free offer. PC fans will still have to wait as long for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla as anyone else, but AMD will ensure they get their copies right away when it releases if they get specified Ryzen CPUs. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is set to release for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5, Google Stadia and PC this Holiday season.
AMD took to Twitter to let their followers know about the new Assassin’s Creed Valhalla promotion by stating, “become Eivor and build your own viking legend in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Get the game free when you buy select AMD Ryzen processors.” This isn’t the first time AMD utilized the launch of a new game to sell their hardware and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be a lengthy and quality game that’s expected to follow the gameplay of the previous title, Odyssey.
As usual, the AMD deals don’t apply to console gamers, so Assassin’s Creed fans on Xbox and PlayStation will need to find a different way to get a free copy of the upcoming Viking themed AC game. Many PC fans of the series may already have an upgraded CPU but anyone who needs an upgrade on the rig can save a pretty penny on software with this purchase. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s development team was recently shaken up, which could lead to delays, but PC fans who buy AMD could get a free copy for whenever it does release.
