World of Warcraft Shadowlands Live Stream Happening Next Month
Blizzard Entertainment has officially announced a live stream that centers around their upcoming expansion for World of Warcraft, Shadowlands. The live stream was previously postponed but now Blizzard is ready to show off the content that alpha testers have had their hands on for weeks. The Shadowlands live stream will occur on July 8th, exactly two weeks from today. While World of Warcraft Shadowlands doesn’t have a confirmed release date, it’s expected to come out for PC and Mac later this year.
Revealed back at Blizzcon 2019, Shadowlands will shake up the leveling experience of World of Warcraft while introducing new zones and covenants to join. The level cap will be reduced back to level 60 and the grind to that level will now allow gamers to select which expansion’s content they’d prefer to explore, allowing gamers to go from Cataclysm, Mists of Pandaria, Wrath of the Lich King, Legion, Warlords of Draenor, etc. content straight into the new Shadowlands content. Gamers who want to explore Shadowlands will need to buy the expansion and a subscription to the game in order to check out the new content.
“We welcome you to join us on Wednesday, July 8 at 9:00 a.m. PDT for our newly rescheduled Shadowlands live stream with World of Warcraft Executive Producer John Hight and Game Director Ion Hazzikostas,” said Blizzard Entertainment during a recent post. “They’ll share more about the upcoming expansion and give you a look at some of the latest content now in development.” Ion Hazzikostas is typically the Blizzard developer who shows off new patch content and what fans of World of Warcraft can expect from the future of the game so his inclusion in the live stream is extremely fitting.
