RAGE 2 Getting Another Expansion Called TerrorMania
id Software and Avalanche Studios aren’t done with RAGE 2 as they’re working on a new expansion called TerrorMania which will run wild on RAGE fans in November. The last expansion, the Rise of the Ghosts, apparently succeeded in Bethesda’s eyes to necessitate another expansion. Instead of continuing the fight against bandits, the wasteland has been cursed and this alternate reality is filled with skeletons and other undead that roam the landscape in the new expansion. RAGE 2 is currently available for Xbox One, PS4 and PC while TerrorMania releases on November 14th.
With a new expansion comes a new location to explore, the Deadlands is a Gothic landscape full of the walking dead and undead variants of previous enemies. Gamers are tasked with stopping the curse from spreading. TerrorMania also includes a new weapon known as the Sword of Transitus which allows gamers to slice and dice enemies up at will. Rise of the Ghosts featured a storyline where the new leader of the Ghosts, Iris, helps the group comeback and pack powerful new abilities. With both expansions, new zones and weapons were included so it’s likely if you’re someone who enjoyed Rise of the Ghosts, you’ll enjoy TerrorMania. We really enjoyed the combat of Rise of the Ghosts but felt the story content went by too quickly and the final boss was a bit of a breeze. We hope TerrorMania includes more challenge but won’t hold our breath on better story content as zombies are kind of played out at this point.
