Rage 2 Rise of the Ghosts Expansion Delayed Until September

The Ghosts Are Still Coming

A while back, Bethesda put out a Rage 2 DLC roadmap. It had the months from May through August mapped out in detail with some loose ideas laid out for the Fall. Just a couple of days ago, a free update was pushed out. It includes a New Game+, Ironman Mode, and Ultra-Nightmare difficulty. Though it appeared that the good news would just keep rolling out, that roadmap was met with a roadblock. The Rage 2 Rise of the Ghosts DLC scheduled for next month will be pushed back just a bit.

Rage 2 Rise of the Ghosts

Alongside the Rise of the Ghosts expansion, there is a plan to release new weapon skins and wasteland challenges, as well as the Mutant Derby world event. These free DLC releases are likely to still be out on schedule, but the paid DLC expansion will be delayed until September. As for the second expansion, that is scheduled for a November release. Whether or not next month’s delay will affect the next DLC has yet to be seen.

When players are finally able to access it, the Rise of the Ghosts content will add more story, enemies, weapons, abilities, vehicles, areas, and a new faction. The DLC following in November will offer the same kind of additions.
