Operation Underground Brings Metro to Battlefield V

The Latest Battlefield V Update Adds a Re-imagined Operation Metro

Operation Metro first appeared in Battlefield 3 and it’s completely re-imagined in Battlefield V in the latest update to the game. The map is a close-quarters German subway station where gamers will dodge firepower through stairwells and trains. Operation Underground can be played in Conqest, Squad Conquest, Breakthrough and Team Deathmatch game modes and is chaotic in all of them. Battlefield V has received the Operation Underground update on Xbox One, PC and PS4 and it’s the third time gamers can experience the Metro in Battlefield.

The multiplayer battles on Operation Underground are sure to mirror those found in the Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4 Operation Metro maps as one team either dominates or both teams endlessly clash in the middle until one wins. For a limited time, gamers will be able to play the Rush game mode on Operation Underground so get in those Rush games while you can!

This map only allows for infantry units, so no vehicle combat will be included. The map is small so the combat is fast and chaotic, especially in the center of the map. Similar to how it was in Operation Metro, the Conquest capture points are: Crossroads, Train Station and Plaza. Gamers who played lots of Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4 will likely get nostalgic with this World War 2 era re-imagining of the classic map.

The level design for Operation Metro has always been applauded by the Battlefield community and it’s likely the addition of Operation Underground will bring back lapsed fans and even attract new fans.
