Doom Eternal

Gamers who purchased the re-releases of Doom, Doom II and Doom 3 who are looking forward to Doom Eternal have more to look forward to with this announcement, especially if they have a favorite version of the original Doomguy. This classic look should play off the new aesthetics in Doom Eternal really well and the skins certainly invoke feelings of nostalgia. Bethesda also announced that game updates are coming to the re-releases of Doom and Doom II for all platforms which will make them feel more like the original version of the games.

Both Doom and Doom II receive a lighting rendering overhaul to make them match the original game visuals. The sound and music playback speed and tone will now match the original Doom and Doom II game audio as well. There are a few additional changes to general game performance and user experience coming with the new updates releasing soon. If you’re a Slayer Club member it’s recommended you link your games to Bethesda.net to get the full experience these titles offer.
