Ubisoft is Expected to Announce a Major AAA Game at E3 2018

Ubisoft Confirms an Unannounced Game Will Be Revealed Next Month

During their financial call yesterday, Ubisoft teased that they still have an unannounced AAA game releasing in their current fiscal year.

Ubisoft E3 2017 No2 1280

Ubisoft explained that three major AAA games will release between now and March 31st, 2019. Two of those are already known to the gaming world. The first is The Crew 2 which releases next month on June 29th. The second game is The Division 2, which was previously announced in March, and is expected to have its grand reveal at E3 2018. The third game, however, will be revealed at E3 next month but as of now, remains a complete mystery. You know what that means, right? It’s time to speculate!

The only other juicy tidbit of information is that Ubisoft expects it to play a big part in its financial year which means it could be a new entry in a popular franchise. Could it be a new Assassin’s Creed? There were those rumours of the next entry being set in Ancient Greece. Or could it be Watch Dogs 3? It has been two years since the second game came out. Or, could we finally see the return of Sam Fisher in a new Splinter Cell game?

Ubisoft also announced that Skull and Bones, their open-world pirate game revealed at E3 last year, would be delayed to at least 2019.

Ubisoft’s E3 2018 presentation is scheduled for Monday, June 11th. Make sure you keep COGconnected bookmarked for all your E3 coverage news.
