The new patch for Ghost Recon, which is available to download now, will bring a new map-voting system, which allows players to vote for one of three possible maps at the start of every match and three new classes to the PvP side of the game. These include:

  • The Trapper, who help provide recon assistance by marking downed enemies on his teammates HUD, and places knock-out gas from a distance to stun and damage any enemies that walk by it.

Ghost Recon

  • The Stalker, which is a marksman class whose shots are completely silent to any enemies far enough away, and are able to mark their targets without them knowing.

Ghost Recon

  • The Guerrilla, who supports his team with a controlled drone that shoots smoke grenades. Teammates inside the smoke become unmarked if they were marked, and enemies are unable to mark them whilst they are inside it.

Alongside these, Ghost Recon also added two new maps for the game’s Extraction mode, which include:

  • The Refinery, an industrial cocaine lab with multiple ways in and out, allowing with various approaches and extractions.
  • Cliffside, a village that was once a Rebel stronghold, but is now home to the Santa Blanca gang. It has many tall buildings and sniping vantage points, allowing for many new tactical extractions.

The patch will also bring along a load of bug fixes and engine tweaks to alter the game’s current build. For the full patch notes, click on through to read more.
