Ghost Recon Wildlands Closed Beta File Size Revealed
Last week we shared with you our impressions of our hands-on time with Ghost Recon Wildlands at Ubisoft’s studio in California. Our man Paul said, “Variety is the other main theme in Ghost Recon Wildlands. The map has 11 distinct ecosystems across Ubisoft’s biggest ever open world…. I tried playing single player as well and you can direct the Ghost squad with reasonably fine detail, but co-op is massively superior in my eyes. Because the world allows so much, you’d be doing yourself a huge disservice by denying yourself that experience. Just buckle up and hang on tight for what is shaping up to be an endlessly surprising and wholly entertaining entry into the tactical shooter genre.” Today, we learned just how big the closed beta will be.
The closed beta of Ghost Recon: Wildlands will have a file size of 21.5 Gigabytes on the PlayStation 4.
The file size on PC and Xbox One will be around the file size on PS4.
The closed beta of the game will start tomorrow, on February 3, 2017. It will end on February 6, 2017.

Set in the largest action-adventure open world ever created by Ubisoft, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands takes place in Bolivia, a few years from now, as the country has been turned by the vicious Santa Blanca drug cartel into a narco-state. Players are tasked with eliminating the cartel by any means necessary. The massive and responsive open world encourages a variety of playstyles allowing players the freedom to choose how they execute any and all missions.
Wildlands will launch on March 7, 2017, on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
