No Man’s Sky Disk Size Revealed
Ever since its reveal at E3 in 2014, No Man’s Sky has been a highly anticipated game. After a much publicized delay, No Man’s Sky has gone gold and is set for its August 9 release date. Since the game is now ready to be printed on disk, Creative Director Sean Murray was able to reveal how much of that disk will be occupied by data.
For those asking – size of No Man’s Sky on disc is just 6GB. A lot of that is audio (⌐■_■)

If you are like us, you are probably asking yourself how it is possible that such a game as big as No Man’s Sky takes up so little disk space? Well the answer is simple: most of the content is procedurally generated, and that requires a lot less disk space.
On top of that, Sean Murray also tweeted that the game passed certification in Europe, United States and Asia on the first try, while the team is working on the submission for Japan.
RC1 on the disc means Release Candidate 1. We passed cert first time in EU, US and Asia, currently here working on Japanese submission (ᵔᴥᵔ) — Sean Murray (@NoMansSky) July 10, 2016
Sean Murray also tweeted that the team is already working on the first update.
Well, waiting for a build to upload really. Actually we’re already busy on Update 1
