Madden NFL 21 Video Review

For many gamers, especially those who are football fans as well, August is a big and exciting month. Why? Because it means that the latest version of Madden NFL is set to be released. This longstanding franchise is one of EAs biggest sellers and there was never much doubt why that was. This year however, fans should hold their applause because Madden NFL 21 simply isn’t as innovative as it should be for a yearly predictable release. Unfortunately, like in many other ways in 2020, the impact of the pandemic strikes again.

Of course EA touts some brand new features in Madden NFL 21, including all-new Skill Stick controls that are set to enhance precise gameplay both as offense and defense. They’ve also said they’ve upgraded the Face of the Franchise game mode from Madden NFL 20, as well as made some improvements to Live Playbooks and Superstar X-Factor, both of which inject more realism to the latest version of Madden NFL. Here’s what their official website for the game says, “Packed with fresh new features and innovative gameplay enhancements, Madden NFL 21 delivers new levels of ingenuity and control developed to inspire creativity on and off the field.”

So why then do so many in the industry seem less than impressed with the game that was released? Check out our video review to find out why Madden NFL 21 scored lower than any game in the franchise has in a very long time.
