Street Fighter 6 – Jun 2
Street Fighter is back with its sixth mainline title, bringing the storied fighting game franchise to the latest generation of consoles. As a fighting game casual, I am looking forward to World Tour, a single-player story mode with a customizable character and world exploration. In addition to updated gameplay and graphics, Street Fighter 6 will also have a real-time commentary system, bringing a new feel to the overall experience.
Sea of Stars – Aug 29
Indie RPGs have been on a roll lately, and Sea of Stars looks to continue that trend later this year. Inspired by classic titles such as Breath of Fire and Chrono Trigger, Sea of Stars features a beautiful art-style and modern mechanics. Taking place in the world of The Messenger, Sea of Stars takes things to a whole new level and looks to be one of the best indie titles of the year.

FromSoftware is at it again just a year after their latest hit in Elden Ring. Think of FromSoftware’s latest successes and throw all your expectations aside. Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon takes a big step away from the fantasy setting toward sci-fi. While the track record for Armored Core games isn’t great, FromSoftware has likely learned a lot through their time with their recent successes, which alone makes us extremely excited to see what they can do with Armored Core this time around.
Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name – 2023
Tying together Yakuza 6, Yakuza: Like a Dragon, and Like a Dragon 8 will be Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. Taking a step back into the spotlight for this iteration is series protagonist Kazuma Kiryu. Unlike the new direction the series took with Yakuza: Like a Dragon, The Man Who Erased His Name returns to its beat-em-up roots.
