The Big 5 – The Five Biggest Games of April 2016

Ratchet & Clank – SCEA – April 12 (PS4)

What a month to be a PlayStation 4 owner! The absolutely iconic Ratchet & Clank are back in what looks like one of the most stunning games we’ve ever seen on a console. Don’t believe me? Just take a look at one of the many gameplay videos released by Insomniac and you’ll see. It absolutely pops with color and looks like non-stop action. After being delayed to coincide with the release of the upcoming Ratchet & Clank movie this newest entry in the franchise is essentially a re-imagining of the first game in the series. I know that in the day and age of the remaster this might throw you off but this is no remaster. Don’t take our word for it though, take a look at the video below and tell us you aren’t convinced!

Indie Spotlight

Alienation -SCEE – April 26 (PS4)

This PlayStation 4 exclusive, said to be the spiritual successor to Dead Nation is a twin-stick shooter developed by Housemarque that has already been referred to as ‘finger breaking’ due to the amount of sheer action you see taking place on the screen. The aliens have taken over and this is the last chance for humanity to kick ass and regain control. This explosive shooter takes you on a Xeno slaughter fest – right here on our home turf. Featuring three classes, four player drop-in/drop out online co-op, a brand new loot system, an RPG-lite progression and the biggest, most colorful explosions Housemarque has ever pulled off, this should be on many people’s radar for April.
