The Worst
Sea of Thieves

Despite selling well and being a hit among streamers, Sea of Thieves, unfortunately, falls into this category as it failed to live up to our expectations. Despite stunning visuals and being fun with friends, repetitive gameplay and limited things to do seem to drag the experience down. In our review, we noted that “despite its shortcomings, Sea of Thieves’ current state serves as an outstanding foundation from which to build.”
The 25th Ward: The Silver Case

The 25th Ward: The Silver Case is actually a sequel to 1999’s The Silver Case, as a visual novel focused on an odd murder and the mysterious circumstances surrounding it. Despite being labeled as a visual novel, we found the title to be extremely text heavy, more fitting of an actual novel. In addition, flat characters, minimal interaction, and cringy dialogue cause “the final product felt like a slog through a swamp of letters with occasional spikes in interest”, as noted in our review.
Assault Gunners: HD Edition

Assault Gunners: HD Edition is a port of a 2012 PS Vita game, and it simply does not hold up. While you can customize your mechs to a certain extent, dull stages, minimal challenge, repetitive gameplay, and short missions drag the experience down. In our review, we found that “Assault Gunners HD Edition is a mech game that, while it might scratch your mech itch slightly, it doesn’t hold up as something to get invested in.”
