The 3 Worst Trailers
Forza Motorsport 7 – Coming October 23rd, 2017 to Xbox One and PC
Ok, we get it Microsoft: you’re looking to show off the power of the new Xbox One X, and its crazy 4K graphics. And Forza 7 looks beautiful, no doubt. But the trailer, slick as it was, seemed like more of the same thing we’ve seen from the series before. At this stage in the game, we were looking for something to wow us and say that this Forza title will do something that previous versions haven’t done. And we just didn’t see that.
Hey, Forza is a legendary racing series and Forza Motorsport 7 looks like it’s going to be pretty damn good. But it just didn’t blow us away. Check out the trailer below and see if you agree.
Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back – Coming September 2017 to PS4 and PC
Call this the game revival nobody asked for. Accolade, a game publisher last seen in 2000, resurfaced at E3 2017 to announce Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back, the first new Bubsy game since Bubsy 3D in 1997 – on the original PlayStation. Due out this fall, Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back is a new adventure developed by Black Forest Games, and has Bubsy in “a bevy of exotic locations” in search of the “beloved Golden Fleece.”
Now, we’re all for retro nostalgia, but this one came out of nowhere – and not in a good way. Plus, the 2.5D platforming style lacks the lovable sprite-charm of most old-school comebacks. Well, opinions are subjective, so decide for yourself.
Just Dance 2018 – Coming October 2017 to Xbox One, PS4, and Switch
Dance games are great – we love Just Dance, and all the new hits sound great and all. It’s just that this is E3. We’re hoping for massive, mind-blowing surprises. Another installment of a long-running series that, frankly, is getting a bit been-there, done-that just isn’t what people come to E3 to see.
But who knows. Maybe you’ll love the new Just Dance 2018 anyway – check it out and decide what you think.
