A Brand-New Chapter Awaits in RF ONLINE NEXT
Netmarble has released a major content update for RF ONLINE NEXT, bringing Chapter 10, new progression mechanics, a powerful Legendary MAU, and limited-time events celebrating the game’s first 50 days of global service. The developer also revealed details about the upcoming Core World mode, which promises large-scale cross-server battles.
Chapter 10 continues the story in the icy region of Severia. Players can explore the Severin Research Base, Nable Mining Field, and the Pumus Quarantine Zone while taking on new Main, Side, and Faction Quests. The update also expands Collection, Exploration Reports, and Memory Chip progression. Two new field bosses, MPF-01 Castle and Sarpedon, have also arrived.
Another highlight is the new Material Conversion system. Players can combine four to six unbound Rare-grade or higher equipment pieces for a chance to receive stronger gear, including the exclusive Circlet equipment type and special collection items.
The update also introduces Tempest, a Legendary MAU built for long-range combat. Equipped with area-of-effect attacks, freezing abilities, and bonus damage against frozen enemies, Tempest adds a new strategic option.
Looking ahead, the upcoming Core World mode will feature cross-server PvPvE battles for players level 60 and above. Held every other week, it will pit up to 450 players against each other before they face the world boss Krator. The top-performing server will earn exclusive buffs for future battles.
Players can also take part in limited-time events featuring login rewards, commemorative missions, progression bonuses, and the “50-Day Festival: Rakan Pirates’ Revenge” event.
