New Challenges Await in RF ONLINE NEXT
Netmarble has released the first major content update for RF ONLINE NEXT, bringing a wave of new features led by the highly anticipated Mining War mode. The update also introduces cross-server content, expanded progression systems, and fresh challenges designed to keep players engaged.
The centerpiece of the update is Mining War, a large-scale conflict where the game’s three factions compete for control of the valuable Holy Stone. Before the main battle begins, top guilds must prove themselves in a Skirmish to earn the right to represent their faction. The winning guilds then clash in an all-out Faction War, battling to destroy rival Excavators while fighting for territory and resources. Players outside the selected guilds can still join the action as mercenaries.
Adding another layer of strategy, Biosuit flight now allows players to unlock aerial routes during battles, creating opportunities for surprise attacks and coordinated assaults from above.
Victorious guilds will receive valuable rewards, including control over server marketplace taxes, exclusive Holy Stone mining rights, special hunting zones, and Guild Mothership benefits. The champions of the first Mining War will also earn the exclusive First Conqueror title.
The update also expands the game’s endgame content with Outer Planet, a new cross-server combat zone. Players can explore Albern Crater, challenge the powerful Xenogeyser boss, and earn rare equipment and crafting materials. Additional content includes Expansion gear, new Epic-grade skills, the Pantera MAU, Basilisk Launcher, and the five-player Arcane Trials dungeon with randomized encounters and exclusive rewards.
This first major update significantly expands RF Online Next’s large-scale warfare and progression systems, giving both veteran players and newcomers plenty of reasons to jump back into the battlefield.
