The Goat’s Sin of Lust Arrives in The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin
Netmarble has released a major content update for The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, introducing Gowther as a new playable hero alongside fresh story content, new challenges, and a lineup of limited-time events.
Known for his calm personality and desire to understand human emotions, Gowther joins the roster with a versatile combat style. Players can equip him with three different weapon types, each serving a unique role in battle. The Wand focuses on Lightning Burst attacks and offensive support, the Grimoire enhances team attacks through Link effects; while the Staff strengthens Lightning-based allies with buffs and debuffs.
Players can recruit Gowther through the limited-time “A Doll Yearning for a Heart” Pick-Up Draw. Until August 5, the Hero Gowther Trial Event also lets players test one of his weapon styles while earning rewards, including Star Fragments, Supreme Mastery EXP, and other upgrade materials.
The update also expands the main campaign with ACT 15, which takes players to the northern region after a sudden barbarian invasion. The journey introduces the new Barbarian Outpost, a fresh area filled with new resources to gather and an unexpected character encounter as the story unfolds.
Beyond the campaign, the update adds the Knighthood Boss Battle against Akumu, new Knighthood Rankings, and a Boss Challenge featuring the Corrupted Barbarian Chieftain Durak, with ranking-based rewards available for top performers.
Several limited-time events are also live, including the “A Journey to Find a Heart” 14-day check-in campaign and the “Confirmed! Twigo” event, both offering a variety of valuable in-game rewards.
With a new hero, expanded story, and plenty of activities to explore, this update gives both new and returning players plenty of reasons to jump back into The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin.
