The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin Introduces Elizabeth in Massive 100 Day Celebration Update

Join the Celebration in the Seven Deadly Sins: Origin

Netmarble has released a major update for The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin as the anime-inspired open-world RPG celebrates its first 100 days. The latest patch introduces Elizabeth as a new playable support hero, alongside a lineup of limited-time summer events, rewards, and quality-of-life improvements.

Faithful to her role in the original series, Elizabeth specializes in supporting her teammates. Depending on the weapon she equips, she can fill different roles during combat. Her Grimoire weakens enemies while healing and protecting allies, the Staff boosts Wind-type teammates and lowers Ultimate skill costs, while the Wand refreshes allies’ normal skill cooldowns when Earth Burst is activated.

To mark her arrival, Netmarble has also added Elizabeth’s exclusive weapon skin, Forbidden Tome Solvire, and outfit, The Princess Who Regained Her Memory. Players can also participate in Hero Pick-Up events featuring both Elizabeth and Escanor.

The update expands progression rewards as well, allowing players to recruit King, Diane, and Escanor by completing specific story chapters. Meanwhile, the new seasonal event, A Midsummer Day’s Dream, invites players to explore beaches and islands with familiar characters while taking part in gathering, mining, and combat activities on Spray Island.

The 100-day celebration also includes a generous login campaign running from June 24 to July 15, rewarding players with up to 100 Regular Hero Draw Tickets. A new TPS-style minigame, Magic★Pop, arrives on July 1 with exclusive cosmetic and upgrade rewards.

Netmarble has also overhauled the mining system, replacing repetitive manual farming with a pet dispatch feature based on player feedback, making resource collection far more convenient.

With a fresh hero, plenty of free rewards, and several gameplay improvements, this anniversary update gives both new and returning players plenty of reasons to jump back into The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin this summer.
