AVATAR LEGENDS: The Fighting Game Opens Global Pre-Orders, Closed Beta Starts July 2

Master the Elements in AVATAR LEGENDS: The Fighting Game

Gameplay Group International and Paramount Games Studio, in collaboration with Avatar Studios, have officially opened global pre-orders for AVATAR LEGENDS: The Fighting Game, following the game’s latest showcase at EVO. Players can now pre-order the upcoming fighter digitally on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC via Steam.

Inspired by the worlds of Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra, the game features fast-paced battles built around elemental bending. The roster includes fan-favorite characters such as Aang, Korra, Zuko, Katara, Toph, and Sokka, offering a mix of strategic gameplay and accessible mechanics designed for both fighting game veterans and newcomers.

Players who pre-order the game will receive access to the closed beta running from July 2 to July 5, along with exclusive gold costume variants for the main cast and the Samurai Appa support character skin. Meanwhile, the Deluxe Edition adds even more content, including a digital art book, soundtrack, custom HUDs, and the Year 1 Pass. The pass introduces Bolin, Ty Lee, Lin Beifong, Uncle Iroh, plus one additional character chosen by the community.

Fans who pre-order will also get the chance to vote for the final DLC fighter from five popular candidates: Amon, Kuvira, King Bumi, Asami Sato, and Tenzin, with voting set to begin later this summer.

AVATAR LEGENDS: The Fighting Game launches on July 23 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC with full cross-play support. A physical release and a Nintendo Switch 2 version are also planned for later this year.

With its beloved characters, exciting bending combat, and community-driven content, the game is shaping up to be one of this year’s most anticipated fighting games.
