Netmarble has pulled back the curtain on Shangri-La Frontier: The Seven Colossi with a brand-new original promotional video at Tokyo Game Show 2026, giving fans a closer look at the upcoming mobile tag battle RPG.

Produced alongside C2C, the studio behind the Shangri-La Frontier anime, the new 2D animated PV brings the franchise’s familiar visual style to the game while introducing plenty of original content. Fans can spot several recognizable characters, explosive battle sequences, and the formidable Unique Monster Wethermon the Tombguard.

The trailer also puts the spotlight on the game’s two-character tag battle system, showing off fast-paced combat and original action scenes created specifically for The Seven Colossi. The PV ends with the silhouettes of the Seven Colossi appearing on screen, teasing the powerful monsters that players will eventually face throughout their adventure.

And there’s more for fans attending TGS 2026. Netmarble is giving visitors their first opportunity to play a demo of the game at its booth. A special media showcase held on September 17 also featured a gameplay presentation, the debut of the new PV, and appearances from members of the original creative team and anime voice cast.

Based on the hugely popular Shangri-La Frontier web novel, which has surpassed 1 billion cumulative views, the game brings Rakuro Hizutome’s virtual reality adventures to mobile. The manga has also passed 18 million copies in circulation.

With familiar faces, massive monsters, and fast tag-based battles, Shangri-La Frontier: The Seven Colossi is looking like an exciting new chapter for fans of the franchise. Now, players will have to wait and see how well its mobile-focused combat captures the thrill of the original series.
