Game of Thrones: Kingsroad Is Launching Its Global Content Alignment Server on 13 October

Substantial Improvements Are Coming to Game of Thrones: Kingsroad

Game of Thrones: Kingsroad is getting a major overhaul soon. Netmarble has announced its new Global Content Alignment server, which will launch on October 13 with sweeping changes to combat, progression, visuals, the economy, and multiplayer gameplay.

The update aims to give players a smoother and more rewarding experience. It introduces a new Membership and Battle Pass-focused system, along with reworked combat and progression designed to create a more natural gameplay flow.

One of the biggest additions is the new Dual Weapon System. Players will be able to switch between weapons during combat, opening up more options for adapting to different enemies and situations. Multiplayer is also getting a boost with new features such as Elite Hideout, Honor Points, and the Exchange Post. Netmarble is also improving navigation, UI/UX, skip functions, and visual quality to make the overall experience feel faster and more polished.

Players who remain on the Western Server can continue using their existing characters and progression. However, those who jump to the Global Content Alignment server will receive rewards based on their character progression and cumulative purchase history. A Reward Lookup feature will launch with pre-registration on September 21.

And that’s not all. Season 3 will arrive shortly after the new server, bringing a fresh storyline set in the Stormlands, along with new progression content and gameplay objectives.

With combat, progression, and multiplayer all receiving major changes, October could mark a big new chapter for Game of Thrones: Kingsroad.
