Attack on Titan 3 Brings the Final Titan War to Players This Winter

The Rumbling Is About to Begin in Attack on Titan 3

KOEI TECMO America and Omega Force have officially announced the release window for Attack on Titan 3, the next entry in the long-running action game series based on the hit anime and manga. The game will launch worldwide this winter for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, bringing players back for one final battle against the Titans.

To mark the announcement, the developers also revealed a brand-new trailer along with fresh gameplay details. One of the biggest highlights is that MAPPA, the studio behind Attack on Titan: The Final Season, produced the game’s opening animation. Acclaimed action animator Arifumi Imai has also returned to direct the opening, promising an exciting introduction that captures the intensity of the series.

Attack on Titan 3 covers the complete story, from the Scout Regiment’s earliest missions to the dramatic finale. Players will once again fight alongside familiar characters, each bringing unique abilities that can be combined to create powerful squads during battle.

The signature omnidirectional mobility gear also returns with improved mechanics, making aerial combat faster and more dynamic than before. Titans have become deadlier as well, featuring new attack patterns that demand quick thinking and precise movement. For newcomers, a new Casual Mode offers a more approachable way to experience the action.

Beyond the main story, Exterior Scouting Missions let players venture outside the walls, establish supply bases, gather resources, and battle dangerous Titans while managing equipment, squad morale, and survival.

With its expanded gameplay and faithful adaptation of the anime’s final chapters, Attack on Titan 3 is shaping up to be a fitting conclusion to Omega Force’s action series, and one that fans will be eager to experience when it arrives this winter.
