Revive Forgotten Ruins in Mini Monuments
Indie developer Awe & Wonder Interactive has announced Mini Monuments, a cozy restoration game coming to Steam later this year. The relaxing experience invites players to step into miniature worlds and carefully bring forgotten ruins back to life.
Mini Monuments focuses on hands-on restoration rather than fast-paced action. Players will dig through abandoned sites to uncover hidden pieces, clean away layers of dirt, and carefully reassemble broken monuments using a variety of tactile tools. As each restoration progresses, color slowly returns to the environment, new details become visible, and the once-forgotten diorama begins to feel alive again.
Each level features a handcrafted miniature scene built around a ruined monument. What starts as a neglected and mysterious location gradually transforms as players uncover its history and restore it piece by piece.
The game is designed to be played entirely at your own pace. There are no enemies, timers, or stressful objectives to worry about. Instead, Mini Monuments encourages players to explore, observe, and simply enjoy the satisfaction of restoring something with their own hands.
Players can also customize their restored scenes by changing the time of day, adjusting weather conditions, and applying photo filters. These options make it easy to capture and share memorable moments from the dioramas.
With its peaceful atmosphere and satisfying restoration mechanics, Mini Monuments looks like a charming game to unwind with later this year.
