EverRail Just Dropped a New Trailer at the Future Games Show Spring Showcase 2026

Face an Endless Icebound Frontier in EverRail

Aesir Interactive has unveiled a brand new trailer for its upcoming open-world action survival game EverRail during the Future Games Show Spring Showcase 2026, offering a closer look at the game’s frozen world and its unique survival mechanics.

In EverRail, the planet has been swallowed by an endless winter, leaving humanity’s survival tied to a massive battery-powered train racing across a vast icy frontier. Players must build, scavenge, and survive while traveling through a procedurally generated wasteland where staying in motion is the only way to stay alive. The train’s battery recharges only while moving, meaning every stop becomes a risky decision as the cold quickly begins to close in.

At the core of the experience is the game’s “Tricore Gameplay” system, which revolves around three different modes of play. On the train, players steer, upgrade, and maintain the moving fortress that keeps the remaining survivors alive while managing resources, repairs, and passenger needs.

Exploration expands beyond the train as players can glide across the skies to scout routes, locate energy resources, and uncover secrets hidden in the frozen landscape. On the ground, expeditions send players into abandoned settlements, frozen forests, and ancient ruins to gather supplies and rescue survivors, though every mission becomes a race against the brutal cold.

The game also features a permadeath successor system where the passenger manifest acts as a life counter. When a character dies during an expedition, players continue the journey by taking control of another survivor aboard the train.

With its blend of survival mechanics, exploration systems, and community-driven world-building, EverRail promises to offer an ambitious frozen survival adventure, so make sure to keep an eye out.
