Theos: Cities of Myth Brings Ancient Greece to Life on PC This November

Rule Like a Greek God in Theos: Cities of Myth

If you’ve ever wanted to build a city worthy of the Greek gods, Theos: Cities of Myth might be worth checking out. Developer Triskell Interactive, known for Pharaoh: A New Era, and publisher Dotemu have announced that the new city-building and management game will launch on PC via Steam on November 4.

A new trailer accompanies the announcement, offering a closer look at the gameplay and showcasing the game’s modern take on the classic city-building titles of the 2000s.

In Theos: Cities of Myth, players will build and manage thriving societies inspired by Ancient Greece across both a story-driven campaign and a flexible sandbox mode. Players can earn the favor of seven powerful Greek gods, including Ares and Athena, by completing their wishes while avoiding their wrath.

Your city can also attract famous historical figures such as Aristotle, who can provide unique advantages to help your civilization grow. The game combines the established building mechanics of Pharaoh: A New Era with an updated interface and various improvements designed to make the experience approachable for both newcomers and longtime city-building fans.

Beyond city management, players will also need to deal with rival rulers and expanding empires. You can raise armies, defend your people, and take the fight to neighboring settlements through real-time battles.

With grand temples, lush landscapes, detailed streets, and plenty of Greek mythology woven into its systems, Theos: Cities of Myth looks set to offer a colorful new spin on the genre. PC players can step into the role of an ancient ruler when the game launches on November 4.
