Lost Rift Has Released a New Demo on Steam Ahead of Its Early Access Debut

Immerse Yourself in Lost Rift

People Can Fly has released a brand new demo for Lost Rift, now available on Steam, inviting players to experience its gripping survival combat for the first time. The first-person survival adventure shooter lets players step into the rugged expanse of Pioneers Landing, setting up a base on Camp Island and joining friends for co-op expeditions. The demo is live until September 24, giving fans a generous look at the game’s world before its full release.

This latest demo comes packed with improvements and fresh content designed to elevate the experience. Among the highlights are visual upgrades that rework foliage, points of interest, consumables, items, and workbenches, bringing a more vibrant and immersive feel to the world. The updated building system offers refined textures and flooring, while new camp decorations such as furniture, candles, and rugs allow players to personalize their base and even gain a Comfort Buff.

Gameplay has also been fine-tuned for deeper cooperation and challenge. The addition of shared islands means squadmates can now visit each other’s territories anytime, even without the host present. Enemy behavior has been adjusted so expeditions now scale dynamically based on squad size, keeping encounters intense and unpredictable. A new Heavy Wound system further raises the stakes in PvP battles by preventing teams from endlessly reviving.

With its combination of exploration, combat, and customizable building, Lost Rift is shaping up to be a thrilling co-op experience. Fans can wishlist the game now ahead of its Early Access launch on September 25, 2025.
