Battlefield 2042 Update 5.1.0 Introduces Quality of Life Changes
The Battlefield franchise is one of the most popular in video games, and Battlefield 2042 is the latest entry in the storied series. Unfortunately, upon its launch, it fell short of expectations. However, since then, DICE and Electronic Arts have been consistently releasing content for the game to improve it. Update 5.1.0 is an upcoming update that seeks to introduce several quality of life changes to the game, following the launch of Season 5: New Dawn. The game is currently available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Besides the update, the Arkangel Legion are ascending. The team noted, “Before we head into the changes taking place for Update 5.1.0, we wish to confirm that your next Seasonal Event will be arriving in July. We’ll share full details with you as we get closer to launch of the event. Expect new earnable cosmetics to acquire and we look forward to seeing you take control of the situation.” Furthermore, the team seeks to improve on two specific areas, namely Vault Weapon Attachments and Squad Spawning Improvements.
Moreover, in the update, players will enjoy several benefits and changes to all major aspects of the game including vehicles, weapons, gadgets, specialists, maps, modes, audio and general gameplay. In Battlefield 2042, players jump into several modes of all-out warfare across land, air and sea. With more content than ever, the game seems to have bounced back perfectly from its shaky launch last year.
