First Kombat
For the past week, we have been anticipating the announcement of Mortal Kombat 12. We kind of got that, but also not. Today, NetherRealm Studio revealed Mortal Kombat 1. It was teased with a video of a clock transitioning from 11 to 12, but then skipping back over to 1.
Now that the Kat is out of the bag, NetherRealm also released all the information concerning its launch. You can check out the release date, the trailer, the pre-order bonuses, and the Kollector’s Edition. If Mortal Kombat 1 is a sure thing for you, which edition will you get?
If you pre-order any version of the game, you will get to play as Shang Tsung. The Premium Edition also comes with the Kombat Pack, which comes with 6 playable characters, 5 Kameo characters, and a Jean-Claude Van damme skin for Johnny Cage. It also comes with one week of early access to the game and to the DLC characters, which are yet to be announced.
Mortal Kombat 1 Kollector’s Edition has comes with everything in the Premium Edition and more. The big ticket item is a statue of Liu Kang, backed up by two dragons. It also comes with several art prints, a steel book case, 2,700 Dragon Krystals, and an exclusive Liu Kang color variant.

Mortal Kombat 1 is coming out on September 19th for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. The Kollector’s Edition is only available for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Pre-orders go live on May 19th.
