Get ready, it’s time to fight to the death in the most expansive version of a legendary franchise. Today, Warner Bros. Games is excited to announce the release of Mortal Kombat 1: Definitive Edition. Now, players can battle out as their favorite characters with new outfits, and all previously released DLC. With over 100 million copies sold the Mortal Kombat franchise captures the brutality of fans everywhere. The Definitive Edition allows gamers to crank this brutality up.  In fact, this edition of the game is the most expansive Mortal Kombat deal yet. A press release provides more details on the new edition and everything it entails. 

Mortal Kombat 1: Definitive Edition features the base game in addition to all previously released DLC. Importantly, this means that players who purchase this new edition will have access to the Khaos Reigns story expansion, Kombat Pack, and Kombat Pack 2, along with the return of Animalities. For those new to them, Animalities are special finishing moves where characters become animal spirits to defeat their foes. Importantly, the Definitive Edition also includes new character skins taking inspiration from the upcoming Mortal Kombat II movie. These skins arrive for Johnny Cage, Shao Khan, Kitana, Scorpion. Furthermore, players will also receive 1250 Dragon Crystals (in-game currency) for their purchase.
