Our First Glimpse at the Future of Armored Core?
It’s been nine years since the last Armored Core installment. And though From Software is busy polishing up the highly-anticipated Elden Ring, they’ve still made time for a classic, underserved franchise.
Remember the Xbox 360? That’s how old we’re talking here – since that’s the platform Armored Core V released on. Our own review marked it as a satisfying, if slightly underwhelming experience – but one that still left fans with a positive enough impression to warrant a 6th installment. And thanks to a recent hint, they might just be getting what they wished for.
But that hint was just a single point of interest. Now, we’ve got several more from a ResetEra thread. Each one claims to be a leaked screenshot from the the new game.

If you’re wondering what the funky lines are, they’re apparently for the leaker’s protection, obscuring any traceable info that From Software could use to identify him. But between those lines, we can actually see quite a bit. It’s all the good, wholesome mech-fueled action we’ve come to adore from the Armored Core series.
The leaker also claims to have info about the content of the game, between those screenshots. Gameplay videos, in fact – clocking in at 30 seconds each. Though as of now, we don’t have much info as to the contents of those videos beyond mech-fueled combat.
What do you think? Is this leak credible? And if it is, are you excited by what you see? We’d love to hear from you in the comments below!
