A Welcome Release
Death Stranding is going to be like never before. Today 505 Games, publisher of the PC version of Kojima’s Death Stranding, revealed today that they are releasing the Death Stranding Director’s Cut sometime this year. A press release about the PC version of the Director’s Cut provides more information.Â
“We’re delighted to announce our partnership with Intel for DEATH STRANDING DIRECTOR’S CUT on PC.” Said Neil Ralley, President of 505 Games, in the release.Â
The Director’s Cut of the game features a mass of new updates and improvements. For example the game, using Intel’s new Xe Super Sampling (XeSS) graphics technology, has improved graphics making the experience on PC unrivaled. Additionally, high frame rates make the graphics smooth. The super sampling technology also makes the game run at an elevated performance.Â
“Our wonderfully passionate PC community have been asking for DEATH STRANDING DIRECTOR’S CUT for quite some time now. So we’re thrilled to be able to confirm its existence today.” Said Antonela Pounder, Director of Global Community at 505 Games, on 505’s website.Â
As of yet, the game has a Spring release date. 505’s website blog post ends with a promise of more details to come. For now, the expectations appear high for the graphical improvements and how they will translate into camera mode. Â
Currently, players can wish list the Director’s Cut on Steam. Upon release, the game will be available on both Steam and the Epic Games Store. Of course, the game features voice work from Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, and Léa Seydoux. Are you excited for the Director’s Cut of Death Stranding on PC?Â
