Decked Out
Unveiled a couple of days ago, we are learning about the different editions of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2. Even though this is a remastered bundle of a couple of 20 year old games, there will of course be a few new things for fans to get. The game comes out on September 4th for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and you can get a few different editions; the Standard, Deluxe, and Collector’s Edition, all with different tiers of bonuses that fans of the series will appreciate.
The Standard Edition obviously just comes with the base game; remasters of the 1999 and 2000 games with updated graphics and quality of life improvements. The Deluxe Edition comes with an extra bonus character “The Ripper” from Powell-Peralta skateboard company. The Ripper is the company’s skeletal mascot. This edition also comes with “unique retro 80s-era outfits for Tony Hawk, Steve Caballero, and Rodney Mullen”, and “unique retro content for the Create-A-Skater mode – boards, clothes, shoes and gear.” The Collector’s Edition might not be for everyone, but it is cool nonetheless. Including the content from the Deluxe Edition, it also comes with an authentic limited edition Birdhouse Falcon 2 design deck, autographed by the birdman himself, Tony Hawk.
The Standard Edition will cost $39.99 USD ($59.99 CAD), the Deluxe Edition will cost $49.99 USD ($69.99 CAD), and the Collector’s Edition will cost $99.99 USD ($149.99 CAD). Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 will be out on September 4th for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with a demo coming this Summer.
