Move Your Downloads Freely With New Nintendo Switch Update
Nintendo recently added update 10.0.0 to the Switch hybrid console, allowing Nintendo gamers to freely move their downloads from internal storage to their SD cards. Until now, Switch fans have had to get creative in attempting to move their downloads from the Switch itself to the external SD card storage, typically involving re-downloading the games. The new update allows Nintendo gamers to re-map their buttons to optimize their Switch gameplay experience akin to the Xbox One. Switch fans can download the new update now, with a Nintendo Switch Online account required to compete with others around the world.
Included with the base game software, Nintendo Switch fans can move update data and DLC content from on-board storage to their SD cards with update 10.0.0. Anyone looking to move their games around will need to go through the system settings to locate data management in order to transport the data they want to move. Some update data and game saves are currently excluded from this new feature so make sure to move games that you have very little saved data in or risk losing it.
Microsoft made the Xbox One a highly optimizable experience for gamers by allowing them to re-map buttons to their liking and now the Nintendo Switch allows the same flexibility,.with up to five stick and button configs can be changed for each paired Joy-Con or Pro Controller. The Switch Lite will also allow for re-mapping buttons utilizing this new feature. Animal Crossing: New Horizons fans will also delight in the addition of several new user profile icons and bookmark features added with update 10.0.0.
