March Update Brings Black Market to Need for Speed Heat
The recent update to Need for Speed Heat has added the Black Market which brings racers new ways to unlock sweet rides. A new character such as Raziel manages the Black Market and he’ll be handling exotic imports such as the two new cars: The 2018 Aston Martin DB11 Volante variant and the 1993 McLaren F1. While the Aston Martin bundle is free of charge, the McLaren F1 will cost around $5 of your hard earned cash. The March update has raced through Need for Speed Heat on the Xbox One, PS4 and PC for adrenaline junkies everywhere to enjoy.
According to Ghost Games, upcoming Black Market content will continue to give a freebie alongside a purchasable ride. It’ll typically deliver an exotic imports with a variant of an existing car for free and an entirely new car for real money. Gamers will have to complete Raziel’s quest to buy the exotic imports and a rep level of 20 is required for the Aston Martin, while the McLaren F1 requires a rep level of 30. Gamers will find the sweet rides in shipping containers in Port Murphy but not just anyone can take them for a ride.
Both of the new rides added to Need for Speed Heat feature additional content such as customization items, character outfits, vanity items, narrative quests and six challenge sets each. With both offering similar content, it’s hard to think of too many people getting upset about this type of paid DLC, especially with the knowledge of exactly what they’re getting for $5. The March update also features a system that’s better at highlighting newly acquired items, race kick-off cinematics, new car customization items, new celebration animations and gives gamers the ability to adjust the intensity of screen shake.
