Plan B: Terraform Gets Worlds of Fire and Water DLC and Free Content Update

Fire, Water, and New Terraforming Challenges Arrive in Plan B: Terraform

Plan B: Terraform is giving players two new worlds to reshape, and they couldn’t be more different. Gaddy Games has officially released the Worlds of Fire and Water DLC, alongside a major free content update that expands the sci-fi terraforming simulator with new systems, vehicles, and technologies.

Available now on PC via Steam for $4.99, the Worlds of Fire and Water DLC comes with a 15% launch discount for its first seven days. The expansion introduces two challenging planets that put players’ terraforming skills to the test.

Fire World is a harsh, volcanic environment filled with extreme temperatures, limited mineral resources, and constant eruptions. Players will need to develop new methods to cool the planet and gradually transform it into a habitable world.

Water World takes the opposite approach, with vast oceans covering almost the entire planet. Construction is initially limited to small islands, but lowering the temperature causes ice caps to expand and sea levels to fall, gradually revealing more land to develop.

The free Plan B: Terraform update also introduces a new Tech Tree, replacing the previous level system. Players can unlock upgrades for vehicles and drones, floating depots, small ships, airships, water farms, seabed extractors, long-range drone extractors, and greenhouse gas neutralization plants. Dynamic snow and polar ice caps, sea plants, plankton, rockets, satellites, and ice comets further expand the simulation.

Plan B: Terraform is currently available on Steam for $15.99, with a 30% discount during the Steam Daily Deal. Whether you prefer battling volcanic heat or slowly reclaiming land from the ocean, the new update gives terraformers plenty of fresh challenges to tackle.
