Death Stranding World Tour Coming to a City Near You
Hideo Kojima announced a Death Stranding World Tour to celebrate the game’s launch next month. The World Tour will takeover Paris, NY, London, Tokyo, SF, Berlin, Singapore, Taipei, Seoul and Osaka around the release of Death Stranding. It’s likely Norman Reedus, Hideo Kojima and Mads Mikkelsen will be present at these events, or a combination of the three. Hideo Kojima has no announcement of which city will be infected by the Death Stranding World Tour first but it’ll likely sandwich the release of the game which launches exclusively for the PS4 on November 8th.
Hideo Kojima plans to bring people together with the Death Stranding World Tour to celebrate the launch of the game, likely accompanied by parties with BB Pods and Monster Energy drinks. With the strange mind behind Kojima Productions himself being directly involved with the tour likely means each event will feel quirky and unique. With how long we’ve been anticipating the launch of this game, we wish the Death Stranding World Tour was coming a little closer to home.
Recently, Hideo Kojima also explained how the decisions gamers make can influence whether NPCs live or die at a Moscow event and he announced that he’ll personally be editing the final trailer for Death Stranding to ensure that it’s to his liking. The game does an interesting thing with the Dualshock 4 controller’s speaker as the baby in Norman Reedus’ BB Pod communicates through the controller. This is even better experienced with the Death Stranding limited edition Dualshock 4 controller which happens to be urine coloured.
