More Assassin’s Creed Games Could Be Coming to the Switch
Update (9/5/2019): This rumored collection was officially announced during Wednesday’s Nintendo Direct as Assassin’s Creed: The Rebel Collection. The $39.99 bundle launches on December 6th and includes AC4 with AC Rogue Remastered.
Original Story:
Nintendo Switch versions of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered were recently spotted on the website of a Greek retailer, The Console Club. The webpage shows that this product has been removed but part of the link’s url still reads, “assassin’s-creed-4-black-flag—rogue-remastered-nsw-new”.
This possible Switch bundle hasn’t been officially announced but, according to games analyst Daniel Ahmad, Black Flag and Rogue Remastered coming to the Nintendo Switch is really happening. It should be mentioned that Ubisoft released Assassin’s Creed III Remastered on the Switch sometime after the remaster came out for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One. So, it’s not like there isn’t any precedent for AC games coming to Nintendo’s hit console.
However, we won’t know for sure that these two games are releasing on the Switch until there’s an official announcement.
What do you make of this rumor? Do you think that Black Flag and Rogue Remastered are actually coming to the Nintendo Switch? Are there other games in the series that you’d like to play on the Switch?
