Assassin’s Creed III Remastered Is Coming to the Switch

Assassin’s Creed III Remastered will launch on the Nintendo Switch on May 21st, Nintendo announced on Wednesday. The Switch version of the remaster will come out nearly two months after the PS4, PC and Xbox One versions launch on March 29th.

The remaster comes with all the DLC content that launched for the original release of the game and it’ll also include the spinoff game Assassin’s Creed Liberation Remastered.

Here’s the story premise, per Ubisoft’s official website:

1775. The American Colonies are about to revolt. As Connor, a Native American Assassin, secure liberty for your people and your nation. From bustling city streets to chaotic battlefields, assassinate your foes in a variety of deadly ways with a vast array of weaponry.

This upcoming remaster will also have “revamped” gameplay mechanics but what exactly this means hasn’t been revealed yet.
