Toy Line To Focus on the Blue Blur
JAKKS Pacific is a leading U.S toymaker, and has just signed a multi-year deal to become the Official toy Partner for the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise.
There’s plans for action figures, playsets, plush dolls and other collectible items during the partnership. One item that fans will want to speed to stores to pick up is the Pinball Track set, which brings to life the classic game stage. It has a customizable track and exclusive Sonic Sphere. Pull the launcher and watch as the Sonic Sphere travels through the track!
JAKKS Pacific’s SVP of Marketing Craig Drobis said that they are “incredibly excited” to work with Sega, and that the line of toys will “extend the ‘Sonic’ experience from screen-time to play-time.”
Anoulay Tsai, SEGA’s Licensing Director said that because of JAKK’s “exemplary track record” it made sense for SEGA to enter into a partnership, taking a step forward as they “endeavour to break barriers at the speed of sound in toys!”
The new line of toys will launch this Fall globally, starting at 4.99$. The actions figures above are a small sample of what we can expect!
