Final Fantasy fans can finally re-experience the eighth game’s compelling tale with Final Fantasy 8 Remastered. The remastered classic launched today for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. As expected, the remaster’s launch trailer really leaned into the nostalgia. You can check it out below!
As a young soldier named Squall, players will lead a band of mercenaries to stop the tyrannical Republic of Galbadia from taking over the world with the help of an evil sorceress named Edea. Like many classic Final Fantasy games, Final Fantasy 8 is a turn-based RPG with a party system, stats, and leveling.
