Bioware Believes That Anthem Has a Lot of Potential
Despite all of the hype, Anthem has not been very well received and could arguably fall into the same category of spectacular messes like No Man’s Sky and Fallout 76. That said, it seems that Bioware has a few things to say about their recent game, and they’re hopeful the future is a bright one for Anthem.
Today EA Play happened and throughout the entire livestream Anthem was nowhere to be seen. While it’s unfortunate that there were no big announcements for Anthem to be had during the event, Ben Irving, from Bioware, was there and admitted the team had learned a lot about the launch of Anthem and they were determined to make the experience better moving forward.
According to the game’s producer, Anthem has a bright future and the potential to be an amazing experience. Here’s what he had to say, “Anthem does have a future — a very bright future, we hope. We’ve learned a lot these past few months. We really want to make the game better — we believe Anthem can be a really amazing game. We know we have some work to do. We just want to work with the community and build it together and make it the game that everyone wants it to be.”
Ben Irving also confirmed that the team is getting player feedback and working with influencers regarding the new Anthem Cataclysm event. If they learned anything since its launch, from the criticism, it’s that they have to communicate more, and provide a steady flow of new content.
It will be interesting to see what they do with the game moving forward. Do you believe Bioware can turn it all around for Anthem? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below and don’t forget to keep it locked for updates!
